About the role

What you'll do

• Build and manage effective purchasing and procurement strategies that help reduce cost and improve efficiency.
• Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and comparison statements when evaluating multiple vendors of Vizianagaram/Andhra Pradesh.
• Handle purchase orders, follow-ups, vendor invoices and support in client billing.
• Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing, delivery terms and long-term contracts.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure materials are delivered on time without compromising quality.
• Research new vendor options and compare them based on cost, quality and reliability as Purchase head in Vizianagaram.
• Check and verify product quality and coordinate quickly if any issues or mismatches are found.

What you'll need

• Must have practical experience in buying or sourcing materials like castings.
• Should know how to prepare comparison sheets and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Strong negotiation, communication and vendor-handling skills.
• Good understanding of procurement workflows, documentation and timelines.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for end-to-end purchasing tasks.
